For Episode 3, we are SO elated to have special guest, Nicole Beverly. Death By Lipstick was honored to be asked to produce an audiobook for Nicole's first book, "Finding Nicole". After our first recording session, even though Nicole worked her butt off narrating the book herself, we had her sit down with us, with a few libations, and she graciously answered a few of our questions.

PART TWO | The Female Beat: Episode 3 with "Nicole Beverly"

We're back for Part 2 of our episode with Nicole Beverly! Death By Lipstick was honored to be asked to produce an audiobook for Nicole's first book, "Finding Nicole". After our first recording session, even though Nicole worked her butt off narrating the book herself, we had her sit down with us, with a few libations, and she graciously answered a few of our questions. Nicole Beverly is a Master's Level Clinical Social Worker, Mother of two amazing sons, Myles and Carter Beverly and a passionate Domestic Violence Advocate. Nicole is a survivor of domestic violence, stalking and multiple attempts by her ex-husband to hire people to kill her from prison. After Nicole left her abusive ex-husband, he began to stalk and threaten to kill her and she found herself facing new challenges within the legal system that was meant to protect her and her family. After years of abuse and stalking by her ex-husband Nicole found herself in yet another battle for her life.

We are so honored to have the incredible PJ Dakota as our guest for Episode 4 of The Female Beat. PJ Dakota, born Patti Jo Thompson, is Michigan born and raised. R&B singer, producer, songwriter, artist developer... PJ started her company Day Dream Production with the mission of providing solid production and songwriting for local and national acts. She wanted to create a company that will allow individuals a place to develop/create any and all concepts. Day Dream Production is now a successful music label with numerous signed artists. PJ continues her work developing new artists and educating indie musicians on how to hone their craft, as well as being an artist herself. PJ Dakota's single "Just Skate" has over 250,000 stream on Spotify. Patti is such an inspiration to both of us and an amazing friend to have in the music industry.
